The girls’ first half display set up Cheltenham for a win over Worcester in Midlands Division One of the National Women’s League.

They played some of their best rugby of the season and, although Worcester were young, fit and well-drilled, they could not defend against a succession of attacks.

Worcester were driven off the ball in most of the scrums.

Cheltenham’s tries were scored by Briege Williams, Tammy Shakespeare, Helen Taylor and Steph Carlyon (two), who also converted one.
